VFAF names Stan Fitzgerald as the New National President

On January 27th, 23, Veterans For Trump (VFAF.ORG), also known as Veterans for America First, announced the appointment of Stan Fitzgerald of Acworth, Georgia as their new president. Fitzgerald, a retired police detective, business owner, and founding partner of Legacy PAC, has served as the organization’s political director for two years.

Vlad Lemets, co-founder of VFAF, commented on the appointment: “Stan Fitzgerald is not a veteran, but he is a highly decorated police officer who understands the needs of both veterans and first responders.”

Veterans for Trump was founded in 2015 as a grassroots movement in support of Donald J. Trump’s candidacy for the 45th President of the United States. Admiral Chuck Kubic, credited by Steven Bannon and Corey R. Lewandowski as the original leader of the movement, currently serves as the organization’s National Spokesman. Co-founders Joshua Macias and Vladimir Lemets created the VFAF Non-profit to focus on veterans’ issues and promote a secure border.

Fitzgerald has taken the organization’s political direction in a new direction, focusing on the America First agenda. He and his wife Donna, along with Angie Wong, sponsored the 2022 Team Trump Georgia bus tour. Working closely with Admiral Kubic, VFAF has made numerous endorsements in the 2022 cycle of candidates nationwide, representing the interests of millions of conservative veterans. These endorsements have resulted in significant primary wins.

Angie Wong, National Media Representative for Veterans for Trump and President of Legacy PAC, believes that the success of any “America First” endorsement should be measured by the primary results. With the power of their endorsement, VFAF has seen over 60 primary winners. The first endorsement of the 2024 cycle was issued for Donald J. Trump for 47th President of the United States. President Trump shared the news on his Truth Social Platform, and Fitzgerald and Wong were invited to Mar-A-Lago for the presidential campaign announcement.

Veterans for Trump will be functioning as part of the Trump campaign coalition. To better support the presidential campaign, Fitzgerald proposed that the organization dissolve its non-profit status and transition back to its grassroots activism, while simultaneously launching a separate new PAC.

In addition, Fitzgerald suggested opening VFAF state chapters for better regional direction to lead boots on the ground organizing the movement and promote local events with candidates. The first state scheduled for a VFAF chapter is Georgia, with attorney Jared Craig tasked to lead the chapter. Craig expressed his enthusiasm for the project, saying, “We have organized some of the most effective and influential people in the America First movement through our efforts in Georgia and we will aggressively work on the presidential election.”

With the power of their endorsement, VFAF has seen over 60 primary winners and is now working to support President Trump’s campaign. Through their grassroots activism, they are determined to make a lasting impact on the 2024 election.

“It is with great honor and pride that I accept the position of President of Veterans For Trump,” declared Stan Fitzgerald. “I am grateful for the support of my wife Donna Fitzgerald, who also serves as a VFAF Ambassador, and for the leadership of Admiral Kubic, Vlad Lemets, and Josh Macias, who have been instrumental in organizing grassroots America First politics. My immediate focus as President will be the Trump campaign coalition, providing logistical support and utilizing our PACs to ensure President Trump’s re-election. We also plan to support the Center for Renewing America, run by Russ Vought of the former Trump Administration. I will be maintaining a dual role as Political Director, as this position is temporary, and overseeing the transition from nonprofit to political action committee. I am pleased to announce that VFAF will be officially partnering with Angie Wong and Jared Craig at Legacy PAC.”
