Veterans for America First Endorses Tamara McFarlane for Fort Bend County Clerk (Texas)
Statement by Kimberly Taiko Moyers, Vice President of Texas, Veterans for America First

FORT BEND COUNTY, TEXAS — Veterans for America First proudly announces its endorsement of Tamara McFarlane in her campaign for Fort Bend County Clerk. The endorsement is issued with great pride and full support by Kimberly Taiko Moyers, Vice President of Texas for Veterans for America First.

“Tamara McFarlane represents the very best of American values—resilience, integrity, service, and unyielding patriotism,” said Moyers. “I wholeheartedly endorse Tamara because she has demonstrated—through action, not words—that veterans will be a top priority in county government.”

From her earliest days as a young girl in Yugoslavia, Tamara held an unwavering dream: to become an American citizen. Achieving that dream legally and proudly remains one of the most profound joys of her life—surpassed only by her marriage to her beloved husband and the births of their three cherished children. She has instilled in her family a deep respect for service, sacrifice, and the profound contributions of our nation’s veterans.

When disaster struck the Texas Hill Country—leaving many veterans facing severe property damage or the heartbreaking loss of their homes—Tamara was among the very first to respond. She mobilized essential supplies and personally supported rebuilding efforts, demonstrating compassion, urgency, and decisive action in service to those who have served our country.

Beyond her dedication to veterans, Tamara is a committed advocate for election integrity, sound local policy, and principled conservative reforms that strengthen Texas families and communities.

Tamara’s professional background includes a Bachelor of Commerce degree and extensive experience as a Government Auditor, Equity Analyst, and leader in Land Acquisitions and Divestitures within the Oil & Gas sector. She later founded and successfully built her own real estate business. For years, she has also devoted herself to supporting developmentally disabled youth and those battling addiction—work that reflects her commitment to uplifting the most vulnerable among us.

“As Fort Bend County Clerk, Tamara will bring exceptional fiscal discipline and operational leadership to an office that must deliver accuracy, transparency, and efficiency for every resident,” Moyers added. “She is prepared to maximize resources, ensure responsive service, protect the integrity of county records and elections-related duties within the Clerk’s jurisdiction, and maintain open communication with the veteran community.”

Veterans for America First encourages all Texans—especially Fort Bend County voters—who value strong, principled, service-driven leadership to join in supporting Tamara McFarlane for Fort Bend County Clerk.

“Together,” Moyers concluded, “we can build a brighter, more supportive future for our veterans, our families, and Fort Bend County.”
