FLORIDA — Veterans for America First (VFAF), the original 2015 Veterans for Trump grassroots organization, is proud to announce its endorsement of Michael Carbonara in his campaign for the United States House of Representatives representing Florida's 22nd Congressional District.
Michael Carbonara is a South Florida entrepreneur, business leader, husband, and father whose campaign is rooted in faith, family, free enterprise, and service. A successful entrepreneur with experience building companies in financial technology, banking, cryptocurrency, data centers, genomics, and healthcare innovation, Carbonara has dedicated his career to creating jobs, solving complex problems, and advancing American industry.
Raised in a Catholic household by a single mother on Long Island, New York, Carbonara credits his family's military legacy and strong values for shaping his commitment to public service. His grandfather served honorably in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean conflict, while his great-uncle served in the United States Air Force during World War II. Their example of sacrifice and patriotism instilled in him a deep respect for America's freedoms and those who defend them.
After relocating to Florida, Carbonara continued building businesses while raising his family with his wife, Sonia, whose family escaped communist Cuba after her grandfather spent more than two decades as a political prisoner under the Castro regime. Their family's experiences reinforced Carbonara's commitment to protecting constitutional liberties, defending individual freedom, encouraging economic opportunity, and ensuring that future generations can continue to pursue the American Dream.
Carbonara's campaign focuses on strengthening the economy, supporting American businesses, improving access to quality healthcare, protecting constitutional rights, securing the nation's borders, and restoring accountable leadership in Washington.
