VFAF’s Vet Force Empowers Communities Through Leadership and Compassion
ATLANTA, GA — July 2025
Across Georgia and beyond, Veterans for America First (VFAF) is bringing bold, boots-on-the-ground solutions to the front lines of community need. Through its Vet Force initiative—an action-driven volunteer corps made up of veterans, law enforcement professionals, and patriotic civilians—VFAF is reminding the nation what real service looks like.
At the center of that mission is Devonta “Sully” Sullivan, National Ambassador for VFAF and a leader in its Georgia-based Vet Force team. A former police officer and community advocate, Sullivan is taking action in the places that need it most—proving that true patriotism means stepping up, not standing by.

In Atlanta, a neglected shelter tied to Park Avenue Baptist Church is getting a second life—thanks to Devonta Sullivan’s vision and the Vet Force’s determination. Moved by the growing crisis of homelessness and housing insecurity, Sullivan organized a team of veterans, local volunteers, and church partners to rebuild the shelter from the ground up.
“We’re not just building walls—we’re rebuilding dignity,” said Sullivan. “We’re giving people a place to rest, recover, and restart.”
The project has become a rallying point for the community, drawing together neighbors, business owners, and fellow veterans who believe no one should be left without a roof over their head. Sullivan’s leadership, forged in the fire of real-world challenges, is bringing hope to families in need—and transforming lives one room at a time.

Just days before Independence Day, Sullivan again stepped up—partnering with the American Red Cross to host a life-saving blood drive at Park Avenue Baptist Church. With donations typically dropping during holiday weekends, his timely action helped fill a critical gap in the state’s blood supply.
“Thanks to Devonta’s leadership, dozens of lives will be impacted,” said Kartik Bhatt, Georgia Deputy Political Director for VFAF. “His work reminds us that service doesn’t take a holiday.”
This is the second major blood drive led by Sullivan in 2025, part of a broader VFAF effort to promote health and resilience in underserved communities.

Vet Force Meets the Community Where They Are. Earlier this summer, the Vet Force team hosted a Veterans Day of Service at Henra Barbershop—a creative outreach event that combined free grooming services with mentorship and veteran resource support. It’s part of a grassroots strategy to connect with veterans directly in the neighborhoods they call home.

Veterans for America First has a long history of community service efforts by team members volunteering for other organizations since 2015. In recent years during the 2024 Presidential Campaign the Georgia State Chapter delivered Truckloads of Hurricane Relief to Georgia’s Fort Eisenhower base and contributed to the Trump campaign's food drive. In Montana the organization helped raised $25K for Green Star families in need.
"Now it's time to launch our own initiatives through Vet Force to form an arm of Veterans for America First that works on community service in addition to the boots on the ground MAGA campaign support," said Stan Fitzgerald
Launched in early 2025, Vet Force is VFAF’s field operations division—modeled after the success of Trump Force 47 and rooted in a belief that action beats rhetoric. With chapters growing in Georgia, Florida, Texas, and beyond, Vet Force empowers local veterans to serve not just their country, but their communities.
The initiative focuses on:
• Emergency relief & disaster response
• Public safety advocacy
• Youth mentoring & community improvement
• Voter education & civic action
Vet Force is also helping reshape public perceptions of veterans—not just as defenders of freedom, but as builders, healers, and leaders at home.

“I didn’t just survive—I chose to serve. Now I’m choosing to lead.”
— Devonta “Sully” Sullivan, VFAF National Ambassador
From shelter construction to life-saving blood donations, VFAF’s Vet Force is proving that America’s veterans are still on the front lines—this time, for their communities.
