VFAF Spokesman Admiral Charles Kubic joins Real News with Lucretia Hughes

Chuck Kubic, a retired Rear Admiral in the Navy Civil Engineer Corps, established Kubic Engineer Group (KEG) in February 2012 after serving as President of ECC International since February 2005. KEG operates worldwide, to include contingency and remote environments, and from 2017-2021 was a key member of a construction team building 145 miles of Border Wall in CA, AZ, NM and TX. During over 32 years of service, Rear Admiral Kubic established a strong record of operational and combat leadership within the Navy and Marine Corps, and has commanded Navy Seabees at the Company, Detachment, Battalion, Regiment, Brigade and Division level.From 2002-2004 he served concurrently as Commander of the 1st Naval Construction (Seabee) Division and of the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force Engineer Group during Operation Iraqi Freedom as chronicled in his book Bridges to Baghdad.

In February 2016, Chuck was asked to serve as a National Security Policy Advisor to Donald Trump, , and was later appointed to his National Security Advisory Council. He advocated Mr. Trump’s intent to sustain “Peace through Strength” in print, TV and radio media, as a surrogate at the Cleveland convention, and as an active campaign spokesman. He also authored numerous issue and briefing papers, was an articulate advocate for rebuilding the US military and refocusing US foreign policy, and has practical national security experience as a military leader and international businessman. In 1985, he was selected as a White House Fellow and served on the staff of President Reagan’s Domestic Policy Council. He currently serves as the National Spokesman for Veterans for America First.

Kubic earned a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Master of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University (Bethlehem PA), graduating at the head of his undergraduate class in 1972. He is also a graduate of the Advanced Management Program of the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania (1995). In May 2011, he was awarded an honorary Doctorate of Engineering by Lehigh University. Chuck is a licensed Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania and Virginia, and a Fellow of the Society of American Military Engineers. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and was awarded the Sigma Phi Epsilon Citation Award for lifetime achievement in 2013. In 2024, Chuck was also recognized as a Distinguished Eagle Scout and is an active adult Scouter, having served most recently as President of the Tidewater Virginia Scouting America Council. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the Adelphoi Foundation for at-risk youth, and enjoys skiing, scuba diving, golf and international travel
