WASHINGTON - June 28, 2025 - PRLog -- From Veterans for America First:
Hung Cao is a retired U.S. Navy Captain, combat veteran, and a bold voice for restoring American strength and leadership. Born in war-torn Vietnam, Cao and his family fled communist oppression and were welcomed to the United States as refugees. He went on to graduate from the U.S. Naval Academy and serve nearly 25 years in the Navy, including with elite special operations forces, where he led missions across the globe defending America's interests.
In 2024, Cao ran for U.S. Senate in Virginia and earned the endorsement of Veterans for America First (VFAF.US). His unapologetic America First platform focused on national security, border enforcement, military readiness, and restoring constitutional liberties. On social media, Hung Cao stated:
"I'm honored to receive the support of Veterans for America First. Their support is a testament to our America First agenda that will put our country back on the right track after four years of Joe Biden and Tim Kaine's radical policies."
Cao has since been nominated for Secretary of the Navy, where he aims to rebuild morale in the armed forces, eliminate political distractions from military training and leadership, and ensure that America's Navy is prepared to defend freedom on every ocean.
VFAF Spokesman Admiral Kubic is quoted 6-28-25 stating "Proud to have a proven Naval Warrior as our Navy Undersecretary - OOH RAH !"
