Kelvin King, a proud Air Force veteran and accomplished Georgia entrepreneur, has declared his candidacy for Georgia Secretary of State in the upcoming 2026 election. King, widely recognized for his unwavering conservative principles and leadership in both military and business circles, is entering the statewide race with a focus on election reform, transparency, and improved government performance.
A graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, King served as a contracting officer responsible for overseeing large-scale procurement operations. Following his honorable military service, he founded Osprey Management, a successful construction company named among the fastest-growing veteran-owned firms in the region. His business success, combined with a commitment to public service, has earned him strong respect within Georgia's conservative movement.
King’s political journey began with his 2022 run for the U.S. Senate, where he gained considerable grassroots momentum and broadened his appeal among working-class voters across the state. His wife, Janelle King, currently sits on the Georgia State Election Board, and the couple have been outspoken advocates for fair elections and limited government.
In launching his campaign for Secretary of State, King laid out a bold reform agenda centered around four key priorities:
